I told her there was a bug in my lens! She kept saying BUG!! and pointing! It was really quite cute how excited she got 🙂
I decided to start a 365 project! This is where I will take a picture of both my kids EVERY day for an entire year!!! I have tried to do this before (with self portraits) but failed miserably when I realized I can’t stand looking at THAT many pics of myself lol. So seeing as it is Logan’s first birthday, I decided that I should start it today and end it on his Second Birthday! Or better yet maybe I can just do it from now on 🙂 I am really hoping that I will make it through this and I know from experience it is a LOT harder than it looks! So I am going to need all of your support in doing this project! So leave comments, ideas, or anything else you can think of to show your support!

WOW so I am sitting here at 10:43 pm and I can’t believe in a few short hours it will be my baby boy’s first birthday! It has been such a wonderful year, and as sad as I am for him to get older, I am just so happy that so many scary things (SIDS) are now a thing of the past! On to bigger and better things 😉 I wanted to share a couple pics of his b-day party on Saturday

I want the bride in her gown and the groom in his tux 🙂 Even if you were married years ago and still fit in that dress and want your man dressed up nice to take pics together let me know! 3. Maternity pics- I am looking for someone who is 34 or more weeks pregnant to do some outdoor maternity pictures! (up to 5 spots available)

I am always striving to bring the latest things into my photography for my clients, because of this I am really happy to introduce a few new developments!
First of all you can now register with Turtle Dove Photography! Whether you are getting married, having a birthday, or having a baby you can register with TDP! This is something very exciting because registering will allow guests from your wedding, baby shower, and birthdays to invest money to go towards photography and prints!
Also I am now offering gift cards that will be available in prices of $25, $50, $100, $250 and $500 intervals! So if you register with TDP then your guests can give you gift cards towards photography!
Another neat thing I am really excited about is I am now offering a day after session! What is a day after session? Well let me tell you! 😉 Ok that was totally cheesy sounding but I really am excited about this so let me tell you what it is. A day after session is just that, a session that happens the day after the wedding. This is really cool because it will give my brides and grooms the opportunity to get some fun and relaxed portraits in their gown and tux without the time restraints of the actual wedding. The day after shoot can be done at a location of the bride and grooms choosing.
Anyways, these are just three of my exciting new developments! Keep checking back in to see more developments!
Today was a hard day. My best friend Jennifer moved to Indiana today. As much as I know that this is such a wonderful opportunity for her and her family it still hurts. I never realized how hard it was going to be to say goodbye. I met up with her and her family and friends for breakfast this morning before she headed off. I did fine through out the entire breakfast. I was supposed to take pictures but I just couldn’t bring myself to do it, as taking pictures just made it seem so final. So we all ate breakfast together and I had to say goodbye to my boys Dylan and Deven, and then lastly Jenn. I couldn’t hold it any longer and started crying, which of course made poor Jenn start crying which just made me cry harder. So after tearful goodbyes we got in our cars and one last time headed in separate directions. My husband tried to comfort me and said that we would definitely go visit her this summer. So that at least makes me somewhat happy. Then he was cute and said, “Well you still have me, even if I’m not as cool as Jenn”. That made me laugh because he knows he isn’t as cool as Jenn lol. We then decided to take a trip to circuit city to get my mind off things. We walked around for a little bit and then wandered over to Petsmart, I was hoping they would have the puppies in but nope just kittens. Now I am NOT a cat person but dang those kittens were cute. William told me I could get one hahaha all I could think was I could just see those little terrors tearing up my new couches and attacking my kids as they played so of course I passed. Again I am NOT a cat person. Anyways, Jenn has been keeping me updated on their progress of driving there. Right now they are in Flagstaff, AZ, they should hopefully finish their trip by Tuesday at around 3pm. So now all I get to look forward to is talking to my Jenn online and hopefully saving enough money to make a trip there in the next month or two. Anyways, today was a hard day. 🙁
